Description
Support group for families of children with Angelman Syndrome, linking families and providing pamphlets, medical journal material, information kits and videos. Angelman Syndrome is a neurological disorder featuring floppiness in the newborn period, progressing to characteristic uncoordinated jerky movements in first few years of life. Characteristic facial appearance, moderate to severe intellectual disability, epilepsy is common. Angelman Syndrome is also known as "Happy Puppet" syndrome (excessive laughter is a feature).
