A not for profit self-help organisation which began in 1954 to assist people with a disability gain independence through motoring. DMA offers advice on where to find vehicle modifications and driving instruction. Victorian members receive a reduction in service fees with the RACV. DMA is working to establish these benefits with motoring organisations around Australia, along with nationally consistent standards for vehicle modifications with the regulatory authorities.
