The Equipment Services at Port Kembla Hospital provide short term equipment hire (3 months only) after an assessment and referral from an approved Occupational Therapist and/or Physiotherapist in hospital. Clients must live in the catchment area Helensburgh to Dunmore. This Equipment Service provides general medical aids to assist patients in a safe transition from the hospital to their home, or to support clients in their home having difficulty prior to surgery, assessing private purchase or awaiting an EnableNSW application to be submitted and approved.
