Description
Provides a range of information and support services for people living with macular disease, their families and carers. MDFA operates a free National Helpline 1800 111 709 providing disease information, wellbeing support, nutrition and lifestyle coaching and resources for living well with all types of macular disease, including age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and diabetic eye disease.
MDFA also holds free community education seminars to raise awareness. It is the peak body advocating on behalf of the macular disease community and provides research funding.
