Parents of Deaf Children (PODC) is a non-profit organisation, supporting families with children from babies to 26 years old who are deaf or hard of hearing in NSW. The organisation offers a range of information, support and advocacy services for parents and carers. PODC connects families to others in their local area via POD groups (parent groups). PODC produces a quarterly magazine, Sound News, which provides information about parenting and educating a child with hearing loss. PODC advocates on behalf of families with government departments and service providers.
