The MLAK, or Master Locksmiths Access Key, is a restricted lock and key system controlled by the Master Locksmiths Association of Australasia (MLAA) and its Business Members. The MLAK system has been fitted to accessible toilet facilities throughout Australia, including Changing Places facilities, interactive playground equipment such as the Liberty Swing, pool equipment and wheelchair elevators at railway stations.
The MLAK allows access to accessible facilities that may otherwise be locked outside standard hours. A complete list of MLAK-enabled locations and facilities is available on the National Toilet Map website and via the National Toilet Map App.
