Provides rehabilitation services to adults over 16 years of age following a recent illness, accident or functional deterioration. Rehabilitation aims to improve a persons functional ability, retraining lost or impaired skills, supporting psychosocial health and wellbeing and community participation. Interprofessional team comprises occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech pathology, social work, psychology, nursing, vocational assessment and rehabilitation.
