Works with customers to build confidence and skills in NDIS Capacity Building, i.e. Coordination of Supports, Improved Daily Living Skills, Improved relationships.
Provides resources such as social stories; menu planners, day planners and goal-setting charts. Loans a range of adaptive equipment, assistive technology and sensory equipment for a trial period and can also provide advice on purchasing equipment.
Works to increase confidence and skills in areas such as: Independent living; community participation; shopping and food preparation; communication skills (including Key Word Signing); walking safely to school; work or outings; catching public transport; time management and planning; social skills; budgeting and financial planning; relationships and sexuality; positive behaviour support, and; transition planning i.e. starting school and leaving home. Programs available - Specialist Services Team Kids Club Camps for Kids Children's Respite Getaways Adult Respite Farm Stay.
