Description

Health care for young people, 12-24 yrs of age, in Central Coast region. Services include: intake, health clinics at youth centres, a high school and community health centre, social work, psychology and occupational therapy services (12-18 yrs), Aboriginal health worker, community outreach, hospital liaison, group programs provide health information, assessment, brief intervention, treatment of general health concerns, counselling referral to specialist health services and other agencies. Assists young people and service providers to coordinate health care and link young people to mainstream health services. Helps young people to develop life skills, engage in school and community activities, manage stress and worry, improve concentration and activity levels. Helps young people to better manage health concerns. Works with community agencies working with young people to promote young people?s access to quality health services.
