SBS has produced a number of infographics in various languages about Coronavirus (COVID-19). The SBS is committed to informing all Australians about the latest coronavirus developments. To this end news and information about Coronavirus (COVID-19) is available in a range of languages on the SBS website.

The SBS states its purpose is "to provide multilingual and multicultural radio and television services that inform, educate and entertain all Australians and, in doing so, reflect Australia's multicultural society". 

The SBS has produced a series of easy read infographics in a wide range of multicultural languages to inform and educate culturally and linguistically diverse Australian communities on COVID-19 and what people can and can't do at this time.

Restrict gatherings outside to two people, unless you're part of the same household.

Can I visit my parents or children? In NSW and Victoria you can only visit if providing food or care. Social visits are discouraged elsewhere.

How can I shop safely? Keep your visit short. Wash your hands before and after. Stay 1.5 metres away from others. Pay with card not cash.

During the holy month of Ramadan... stay home stay safe stay connected save lives.

Can I go for a drive? 

Can I go for a drive? Drivers must have a reasonable excuse to leave home, such as shopping for food or getting medical care.

Domestic violence 

It is OK to leave home if you are unsafe. If you or someone you know is impacted by sexual assault, family or domestic violence, call 1800 737 732 or visit 1800RESPECT.org.au. In an emergency, call 000.

Mental health and wellbeing

 Self-isolation can impact our mental health and wellbeing. Check in with loved ones by phone, video call, social media or email and encourage people to seek professional support when they need it.

Schools

Schools across Australia have returned for term two. Some will continue remote learning. Some have resumed face-to-face learning. Check with your child's school or your state's education department for details.

COVID-19 Testing

Testing for coronavirus is now available across Australia for anyone with symptoms. If you have a dry cough, fever, sore throat or breathlessness, call your doctor or the National Coronavirus Helpline on 1800 020 080 to get tested.
