The FPDN has developed ten priorities to address disability inequity in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities for the implementation of the National Disability Strategy and National Disability Insurance Scheme.

This is the updated plan to the original 10-point NDIS implementation plan that was established in 2013. These updated ten priorities are intended to ensure that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with disability have access to services that are accessible and relevant, ensuring that the services and supports will work effectively within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
