There is a special phone line for Queenslanders who are in coronavirus home quarantine and are needing food, medicines or advice and information.

Community Recovery Hotline    1800 173 349

This service is for people who have been advised to quarantine at home either by a medical professional, Queensland Health or through a government direction and have no other supports to assist them.

Many people have made their own arrangements and have support networks in place to ride out the quarantine period. However, there are some who have been caught short either with time or funds and haven't been able to arrange the delivery of necessary food and medications.

A call to the Community Recovery Hotline will put them in contact with staff who can work with partner organisations to arrange non-contact delivery of essential items.

This line is also available to people who chose to self-isolate and are in need of social and emotional telephone support.

Queenslanders who require health advice or information and are in quarantine or self-isolation should call 13 HEALTH (13 43 25 84). This is a confidential phone service providing advice to Queenslanders. There is a registered nurse 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on the line. The cost is of a local call. The advice is qualified health advice however it is not a diagnostic service and does not replace medical consultation.
