If you have an NSW Disability Parking Permit you can park in time-limited parking areas for longer periods of time. To take advantage of these special parking conditions always make sure that your Disability Parking Permit is displayed correctly in the car on the left-hand side (passenger side) of the car.  Please see below for a guide.

Parking Signs

1 hour  Unlimited Parking
2 hour  Unlimited Parking
10 min parking  Maximum of 30 minutes of parking
15 mins  Maximum 30 minutes parking
30 mins Parking for up to 2 hours
bus lane  No parking or stopping
clearway  No parking or stopping
disability parking  Unlimited Disability Parking
loading zone  No parking or stopping
no parking Permit holders can stop for up to 5 minutes to drop off or pick up, the driver must remain within 3 metres of the vehicle
no stopping  NO PARKING AT ANY TIME
taxi zone  No parking or stopping 
Truck Zone  No parking or stopping

 

These special parking conditions are only available for on-street parking and council operated car parks.
